　　Nafion™ membrane provides supports for new gas analysis technologies

　　Nafion™ membranes are effective in humidifying and drying air flow, which are key steps in preparing gas samples for chemical analysis. The Nafion™ membrane is provided with an airflow on one side and a suitable dry or wet airflow on the other side. This allows samples to be prepared for analysis.

　　Nafion™ membranes can be operated in harsh chemical and high-temperature environments, while maintaining properties over multiple usage life cycles. Thus, they are used in many types of analytical devices, including:

　　Medical equipment for respiratory gas analysis applications, and oxygen and air humidification for ventilator applications;

　　As sample dryers for various gas analyzers and scientific analysis equipment;

　　Gas humidifiers for fuel cells, thermostats and environmental control test chambers.

　　A gas sample treatment system for measuring nitrogen oxides (NOx) and sulfur oxides (SOx) emissions, suitable for chemical environmental management systems (CEMS) and process monitoring.
